The Bosch Rexroth VMA 21KB 001-D is a VM-series power supply module for the ServoDyn D drive system, providing the central DC supply to the connected drives, controls and servo motors.
In a ServoDyn D assembly the supply module is the infeed stage: it takes the three-phase AC input and feeds the shared DC link that the drive modules draw from, so it sits at the heart of the drive package. It has an internal ballast switch for handling braking energy, two power slots, and a 7-segment display that reports operating conditions and faults, and it can be swapped without powering down the whole system.
