The PNOZ X4 Pilz is a safety relay that ensures the safe operation of machinery and equipment. It is designed to be used in applications where safety gate control is required. It operates on a 24 V dc power supply and functions as a safety gate monitor.
The PNOZ X4 Pilz has three normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) safety output contacts. These contacts are used to control the operation of the safety gate. When the gate is closed and the safety relay is in the safe state, the NO contact closes and the NC contact opens, allowing the machinery to operate. If the safety gate is opened or if there is a fault in the system, the safety relay instantaneously switches the contacts to the safe state, stopping the machinery from operating.
This safety relay is mounted on a DIN rail using screws, providing a secure and reliable installation. It has dimensions of 45 x 121 x 87 mm, making it compact and suitable for installation in restricted spaces.
