The PFE-16 36 AMP 18.5kW@400V, 230-460V Soft Starter, manufactured by Fairford Electronics, is specifically designed for small induction motors. This compact device is internally bypassed and, at only 45mm wide, can easily be mounted on a DIN rail.
The PFE-16 Soft Starter is an ideal solution for applications where there is a need to control the starting current of small induction motors. By gradually ramping up the voltage supplied to the motor, it ensures a smooth and controlled start, minimizing mechanical stress on the motor and reducing the likelihood of inrush current-related issues.
One of the key features of this soft starter is its internal bypass.
