The AP8200 Auxiliary Function Card is designed for use with Fairford XFE and QFE Soft Starters. It provides additional functionality and flexibility to these soft starters, allowing for more precise control and monitoring of motor operations.
The AP8200 card features 2 x 0-10V analogue outputs, which can be used to control external devices, such as valves or dampers, based on the motor's speed or other parameters. These outputs can be configured to provide proportional control or on/off control, depending on the application requirements.
In addition, the card includes 1 x 0-21VDC input, which can be used to monitor an external signal, such as a motor speed feedback or process variable. This input can be used to trigger certain actions or alarms based on the measured value.
The AP8200 card also provides 1 x 4-20mA input, which can be used to interface with a wide range of sensors, such as pressure or level sensors. This input allows for precise monitoring of external variables and can be used to trigger actions or alarms based on the measured value.
