Thermocouple Input Adapter
The AL2-2TC-ADP is a thermocouple input adapter manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric. This adapter is designed to connect thermocouples, which are temperature sensors, to Mitsubishi programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or other compatible devices.
Thermocouples are widely used in industrial processes for measuring temperature. They consist of two different metal wires connected at one end to create a junction. When this junction is exposed to heat, a voltage is generated that is proportional to the temperature difference between the junction and the other end of the wires. This voltage is then converted into a temperature value using the AL2-2TC-ADP adapter.
The AL2-2TC-ADP adapter has two input channels, allowing it to connect two thermocouples simultaneously. It supports various types of thermocouples, including type K, type J, type T, and type E. This versatility enables it to be used in a wide range of applications across different industries.
