The 170972 circuit breaker offers flexible installation options, allowing it to be positioned in any location, whether on a switchboard or wall-mounted. It has a nominal current range of 16 to 630 A.
There are 9 different breaking capacities available for the two sizes of circuit breakers. For circuit breakers up to 250 A, the breaking capacities range from 25 to 200 kA at 415 V. For circuit breakers up to 630 A, the breaking capacities range from 36 to 200 kA at 415 V. Both sizes of circuit breakers also have breaking capacities of 75 and 100 kA at 690 V.
The circuit breaker is available in 1, 2, 3, and 4 pole versions, providing flexibility for different electrical systems. It offers a wide range of electronic and thermal-magnetic protections to ensure reliable operation.
The advanced trip unit of the circuit breaker comes with integrated power metering capabilities, allowing users to monitor important electrical parameters such as current (I), voltage (U), power (P), energy (E), total harmonic distortion (THD), frequency (f), and power factor (CosPhi).
